Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What does the contribution fee cover?
A: The contribution fee covers USPS priority mail return shipment of papers to US participants at $9.65. International shipping will go USPS. Price will depend on. . . . So much! The remaining funds will bridge the expense of pay-what-you-can participants, materials for making the enclosures, and maybe buy your organizers a coffee. π
Q: Can I send paper bigger or smaller than the A4/B5/D4/US letter size?
A: Please keep your paper in the realm of these standard sizes.
Q: Why do I have to send in 12 if Iβm only getting 10 back?
A: We create one full set of papers every year and will start seeking out exhibitions opportunities for the papers. This year we are collecting a second full set to raffle on Instagram. The benefactor of the raffle funds is TBD and will be announced with the raffle. Email us if you have ideas! The intention of the raffle is to support interest and growth in the craft of papermaking.
Q: Do all 12 sheets need to be the same?
A: Nope. Just make sure to send recipes or information about each one.
Q: I have an idea that might make this swap more inclusive, or I want to participate but have a resource barrier. Can I contact you about it?
A: My hope is that you will! Email me at genevieve.lapp@gmail.com
This sounds like FUN. Count me in.
