Pulping and Refining

Pulping and refining were concepts I had trouble prying apart when I was learning about papermaking. Learning that they were separate processes made sense once it clicked…but the clicking took a while!

I’ve made a little video to talk about the different kinds of pulping, what refining is exactly and the ways pulping and refining change certain properties of the paper you are making.
